Terms & Conditions.
Everything you need to know before we begin working together, including payments, timelines, revisions and website management.
How we'll work together.
Every project begins with a proposal outlining the agreed scope of work, deliverables, estimated timeline and investment.
Once your proposal has been accepted and your deposit has been received, your project will be scheduled and work will begin.
Project timelines are estimates and may vary depending on project complexity, client feedback and the timely delivery of content.
Investment & payments.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project and reserve your place within my schedule.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before your website is published or made live.
Payment plans may be available where agreed prior to the start of your project. Any overdue payments may delay project completion or publication.
Project timelines.
Estimated project timelines are provided before work begins and are based on the agreed scope of work.
To keep your project moving, you'll be responsible for providing content, images, branding assets and feedback within reasonable timeframes.
Where significant delays occur due to missing content or prolonged periods without communication, project timelines may be adjusted accordingly.
Revisions & project scope.
Each website package includes a set number of revision rounds, as outlined within your proposal.
Revision requests should be submitted together wherever possible to help keep your project progressing efficiently.
Requests outside the agreed project scope, including additional pages, features or functionality, may require a separate quotation before work continues.
Managed websites.
Unlike traditional website handovers, websites created by The 57 Tabs Method are managed as an ongoing service.
Website deployment, hosting configuration and technical infrastructure are managed using trusted platforms including GitHub and Netlify, allowing your website to remain secure, reliable and easy to maintain.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients are not provided with direct access to the underlying development workflow or deployment systems.
Ongoing support.
Every website package includes an aftercare period, as outlined within your proposal.
During this time, minor updates, bug fixes and technical support are included where applicable.
Once your aftercare period has ended, additional updates, new features or design changes may be quoted separately unless covered by an ongoing support agreement.
Your responsibilities.
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate content, branding assets, images and business information for use throughout the project.
You must ensure you have the appropriate rights or licences to use any logos, photography, graphics or written content supplied to The 57 Tabs Method.
It is the client's responsibility to review and approve all content before the website is published.
Ownership & portfolio rights.
Upon receipt of final payment, you retain ownership of your business content, branding, logos and assets created specifically for your business.
The 57 Tabs Method retains ownership of its design processes, reusable code, development framework and deployment workflow used to create and manage your website.
Unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing before work begins, completed projects may be showcased within my portfolio, website, social media channels and other promotional material.
Limitation of liability.
Whilst every effort is made to provide a reliable and professional service, The 57 Tabs Method cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from third-party providers, hosting platforms, domain registrars or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Every website is thoroughly tested before launch, however no website can be guaranteed to remain free from future issues caused by external services, software updates or changes made by third parties.
Acceptance of these terms.
By proceeding with your project, making payment or accepting a proposal, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to services, legislation or business practices. The latest version will always be available on this website.
